Recent Images

Most of these images were taken during Mr. Fish’s visit, along with a delegation from the Bardejov Jewish Preservation Committee, to Bardejov in November 2010. They show the current state of the Jewish Suburbia, the Bikur Cholim Synagogue, and the Chevra Mishnayot Synagogue. The most disturbing photos are of the historic Jewish compound, whose buildings and grounds are now occupied by a large building supply company.

There are also photos of Bardejov Spa and the newly installed " Singing Fountain " in Bardejov.

We thank Peter and Pavol Hudak for their updated look at the installation of new windows in the old Synagogue. These photos come from January 2011 when a special evening illumination of the Old Synagogue, the first in 66 years, was arranged to commemorate International Holocaust Remembrance Day, on January 27, 2011.
