Welcome to the Bardejov Jewish Preservation Committee Web Site.

We have formed this committee for the purpose of restoring the Jewish properties in Bardejov, Slovakia, a home to Jewish communities since the 1700s. The Jewish Suburbia and the town’s historic center were added to UNESCO’s World Heritage List in 2000.

In this spirit of preserving Bardejov’s rich Jewish heritage, we are inviting Bardejov survivors, descendants, friends, and others interested in commemorating the vanishing Jewish communities of Eastern Europe to
